Last night I had the rare opportunity to see George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic perform at BBKings in New York City. I have to thank my wonderful friend Matt Willson for reminding me how cool this guy really is. The place was packed, all age groups, everyone wanting to come out and just have a lot of fun. I wish he had more dates in New York. There are a lot of New Yorkers out there who should have treated themselves to this opportunity to go inside, forget about work, and just have a lot of fun. Yes, it did take me back a few years, but weren't those years amazing for everyone? I have not been to a show like that in a long time.
